Taekwondo: (Feb. 27)

For the third consecutive year, Taekwondo’s Steven Lopez (Sugar Land, Texas) has been named one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Sullivan Award, presented annually to the USA’s top amateur athlete. Ballots for the Sullivan Award were sent to AAU officials, U.S. Olympic Committee members, college sports information directors and others. Fans can vote at www.sullivanaward.usatoday.com.
